These days, Barb feels confident in her beautiful hair and doesn’t care who knows she wears a wig. But that hasn’t always been the case. Losing her hair to androgenetic alopecia and an immune disorder was devastating. She spent many frantic and desperate years searching for solutions while hiding her hair loss with root powders to conceal her visible scalp. Hair loss took Barb’s self-confidence, and she felt isolated and alone in her journey.
Eventually, her hair loss progressed, and the root powder was no longer helpful. Barb sought more invasive treatment with PRP therapy, but when that proved ultimately unsuccessful, she turned to human hair wigs.
“At no point did I think it would progress to where I'm at today. Fear, confusion, stress…I had it all,” recalls Barb when asked about that time in her life.
Her wig-buying journey certainly had its ups and downs. During the consultation, Barb suffered a setback when told that her hair loss was too advanced for a topper and she would need the coverage of a full wig. “When my consultant shared with me the reality that toppers weren’t going to be a good option for me, I was devastated,” Barb explains. “I was crushed that my hair loss was so advanced and worse than I had thought.”
Accepting her hair loss reality enabled Barb to eventually try a human hair wig and she hasn’t looked back. Feature 1: Hair Quality

Our wig caps range from xxxs - xl, and nothing less than a perfect fit is good enough.
We encourage customers like Barb to try our Fit Kit service. A Fit Kit typically contains a couple of different cap sizes based on your measurements and hair samples that we send to your home. We want you to try the cap sizes out before you make a purchase. You can wear them for a few hours at home to test their comfort over a longer period.
Feature 3: 100% hand-tied cap
When Barb first tried on a Style wig, she noticed that the hair moved in a way that seemed completely natural. Before trying on a wig, she imagined the hair would be static and stuck in a fixed style. Not the Style wig.
“Trying on my wig for the first time, I was amazed at how the hair moved in such a natural way. I was so far from what I thought a wig would feel like.”
The Style wig is 100% hand-tied which means that each hair is tied to the wig cap 1-2 hairs at a time, strand by strand. Creating a human hair wig of this quality takes highly skilled craftsmanship and it takes about 10 days to meticulously craft one Style wig. This construction method gives the hair a completely natural movement and bounce. No lifeless, lackluster hair here.
Feature 4: Skin top cap
When Barb knows her wig looks good from all angles, she oozes confidence. Her Style wig features a skin top that looks like a real scalp along the part line. Human hair wigs feature either a skin top or a lace top. Skin tops give a true scalp appearance compared to a lace top wig which, upon close inspection, doesn’t look as natural as a skin top.
“The skin top gives me that natural scalp look. It’s a boost to my confidence knowing it looks completely real and natural. You can change the part from side to side and achieve any look you want. It’ll look perfect every time,” says Barb.
Feature 5: Styling versatility
