Hi Jill! How long does it take you to put your wig on in the morning?

I just pop it on and straighten it out. It’s probably less than 30 seconds.

That's fast. Okay, my next question is what is the most surprising thing you've learned about wearing wigs?

The most surprising thing about wearing wigs, I think, is the fact that they're so easy to wear and they're so easy to, like, cut and color.

How about naming your wigs? Do you name your wigs? And if so, what are the names?

I don't name them names per se, but I have a short bob and I have a blonde. I've also got the ponytail hair. So when I show up at my parents, they’re like, ‘Oh, it's a ponytail hair day!’

Now, what is the biggest misconception that people have about wearing wigs?

The biggest misconception, I think, is that they're big and bulky and they're not meant to be worn day to day. That they're a Hollywood thing. But in reality, you can wear them daily.

Big question next. Has anyone ever noticed you're wearing a wig?

Honestly, I've really never been asked the question if I'm wearing a wig, so I don't really know, but I don't think so because it looks so natural. I don't think anyone would instinctually say, ‘Hey, that's a wig.’

Yeah, I had no idea until you told me. I've always been curious, can you sleep in your wig

I don't like to, and I don't think you should, but some people's comfort levels are different.

Tell me, do you have a favorite wig style?

My favorite wig style is a nice, soft, beachy wave just because it's versatile and it's not stick straight like the hair I grew up with. I can finally do something a little different with this wig.

What is the funniest wig-related incident that's ever happened to you?

I recently had a funny story happen with my wig! We were trying out a new grill at my apartment and we couldn't figure out if it was on properly. Once we realized it was, we opened it up and huge flames came out! I was so worried about my new, beautiful hair that I ran away!

I have another question. Have you ever been caught in the wind or the rain with your wig? And if so, what happened?

Nothing happened, which is the best answer! You can get it wet and it still looks natural. I'm not worried about whether people are going to notice. Same thing with the wind. The wig moves naturally. I'm not worried about anything. So nothing happens, which is the best answer.

Okay, what is the one thing you wish everyone knew about wearing wigs?

That they're fun. That it's fun to change things up and not have to worry about washing and styling your hair every day.
